Our Story<\/h2>

Magneti Plastic<\/strong> was founded in 1973<\/strong> through the vision and determination of Mr. Valter Giavazzi<\/strong>, who brought with him significant experience gained at leading companies in the household appliance, petrochemical, and hydraulic sectors.<\/p>

After two years as a representative for a major distributor of rubber and foam materials in the Milan area, Giavazzi decided to embark on a bold entrepreneurial adventure, establishing a company destined to make a mark.<\/p>

Initially, the company focused on the commercialization of magnetic seals for refrigerators, from which the company's name originates<\/strong>. From the very beginning, the founder surrounded himself with skilled collaborators, appointing a production manager to oversee orders and personnel, while he dedicated himself to client relations and representation. This decision proved successful, and the company grew steadily.<\/p>

In 1992, Raffaella Giavazzi<\/strong>, the founder's daughter, decided to join the family business. Her journey began in production, where she immersed herself to fully learn about materials, processes, and production times.<\/p>

She accompanied her father on client visits and trade fairs, acquiring an in-depth understanding of the market's technical requirements and developing an ability to interact with respect and competence. Over time, her role evolved to include company management<\/strong>, with a particular focus on production and client relations.<\/p>

Today, Raffaella proudly leads the company,<\/strong> working closely with managers and clients' technical offices to develop prototypes and innovative solutions.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n <\/section>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A Company in Continuous Evolution<\/h2>

Over the years, Magneti Plastic has expanded its production sectors<\/strong>, becoming a reference point for the production of:<\/p>

  • Soundproofing panels<\/strong> in polyurethane and Fonitek sheets.<\/li>
  • Seals<\/strong> made of natural and synthetic rubber.<\/li>
  • Sewn and custom-shaped expanded filters.<\/li>
  • Sleeves<\/strong> in polyester or nylon fabric, sewn directly onto PVC rings.<\/li>
  • Heat protection<\/strong> sewn in expanded melamine, used in boilers, steam cleaning machines, ironing systems, and professional coffee machines.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>

    All materials used are fire-resistant<\/strong>, certified as Class 1<\/strong>, and compliant with RoHS and REACH<\/strong> regulations<\/strong>. All items are produced internally in cutting and sewing departments, ensuring direct control over quality and processes. A dedicated technical office develops customized solutions starting from client prototypes<\/strong>, also handling soundproofing and\/or insulation for final acoustic tests.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n <\/section>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    A Commitment to Sustainability<\/h2>

    The company is particularly attentive to eco-sustainable solutions that protect the environment<\/strong>. An example is the introduction of new rubber inserts capable of replacing lead, thus addressing issues related to its disposal.<\/p>

    Since 2000<\/strong>, Magneti Plastic has operated in a modern facility near the Certosa di Pavia<\/strong>, covering a total area of about 1,800<\/strong> , suitable for growing production and logistics needs.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n <\/section>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    New Challenges: The Nautical Division and Global Market Expansion<\/h2>

    Recently, Magneti Plastic<\/strong> has launched a nautical division<\/strong> in the province of Imperia,<\/strong> dedicated to the production of sound-absorbing panels for engine rooms, made with high-quality, innovative materials, both for performance and environmental sustainability.<\/p>

    Since 2021<\/strong>, the company has begun exhibiting at industry trade fairs, a step initially approached with apprehension but which proved to be extremely rewarding. The fairs have showcased the value of Made in Italy<\/strong> manufacturing<\/strong>, attracting attention not only in Europe but also globally.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n <\/section>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
